Development and Validation of Novel High-Performance Liquid Chromatography Method for Simultaneous Estimation of p-Cymene and Aloe-emodin

The objective of the present investigation was to develop a novel, accurate, precise, and linear High-Performance Liquid Chromatographic (HPLC) method for simultaneous estimation p-Cymene aloe-emodin in novel topical herbal formulation validated as per ICH guidelines. In current study, good chromatographic separation achieved isocratic mode using an HPLC C18 column (250mm × 4.6), 5 μm, mobile phase consisting acetonitrile:water ratio 80:20, at flow rate 1.0 mL/min temperature maintained 25°C. response obtained monitored 225 nm wavelength with UV-Visible detector. retention times Aloe-emodin were found be 4.3 min 9.0 respectively. Linearity established both range 10-90 µg/mL, For method, % Recovery 99.67-100.51 98.68-100.4 LOD LOQ 0.01 0.04 0.12 0.36 This can successfully employed quantitative analysis formulation.
